[ www.usatoday.com ] hired Stripper for Son's Birthday party

Anette Pharris, 34, faces criminal charges [contributing to the delinquency of a minor and involving a minor in obscene acts] after hiring a stripper to dance at her 16-year-old son's birthday party. The boy's father, the stripper and 2 others also face charges.

About 10 people under the age of 18 were at the birthday party, including minors not related to the family.

"I tried to do something special for my son," Pharris said. "It didn't harm him."

A police spokesman said minors are not permitted in adult establishments: "A person shouldn't be allowed to circumvent that law by hiring a stripper, a lady who took all her clothes off and spent a good amount of time dancing around minors."

Pharris took photos at the party and tried getting them developed at a drug store who later notified authorities.

"Who are they to tell me what I can and can't show to my own children?" the mother said.

Hmm, that's pretty intersting.
But I guess the Law is the Law,

Mind you you, the police spokesperson said "Minors aren't allowed in adult establishments."
I had the impression the stripper was brought to their residence?

Anyways, I thought this was funny because the mom of one of my friends in the west did the same thing.
It was fun... But she stank like booze.

read the next paragraph...

Police spokesman Don Aaron said minors are not permitted in adult establishments.

"A person shouldn't be allowed to circumvent that law by hiring a stripper, a lady who took all her clothes off and spent a good amount of time dancing around minors," he said.

Didn't you know? Parental permision means about as much as anything these days.

If someone with "more power" than you thinks your wrong, you are.

yeah well its not fair for her to get in shit if she didn't do anything illegal and none of the other parents complained. The kids are all over the age of consent but within the age of being under parental control. They are allowed to have sex so why can't they watch a naked lady, that they see everyday on the internet. It's ridiculous that they can try to have this much control over ppl's lives. The age of big brother is comming fuck.

moral of the story

dont fuckin develop your stripper party pics at an IGA or someshit

if u already gonna shoot some nudity, buy a cheapo photopronter and print em muthafuckers! the less strangers you involve in the process the better... helloo.. common sense!

but this is ridiculous of course

i knew some 16 yr olds who got laid more at their age than some people their entire life

Here's the follow up to this article.

Nashville parents get probation for hiring stripper for 16-year-old son
08/07/2005 12:47:00 AM

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A couple pleaded guilty Thursday to hiring a stripper for their son's 16th birthday party and were sentenced to two years probation.

Landon and Anette Pharris, who were charged with contributing the delinquency of a minor, also were ordered to take parenting classes. The parents hired the stripper to perform at a September party attended by about a dozen young people. Cassandra Park, 29, who police say used the stage name Sassy, danced for a few hours before partygoers took up a collection and paid her $150 US more to fully disrobe, Anette Pharris said.

The stripper and the man she was with were also granted probation.

Police were tipped off to the party by a photo developer at a drug store who saw pictures of the occasion.

Pharris said after being arrested that she tried to do something special for her son.

"We even had grandpa there," she said.

this reminds me of a funny time about 7 years ago or so when i had a film-based cam and had no choice but to send home porn to get developed at the IGA.. one of the jucier pics had alot of fingerprints on it when i got em back, it was very fisible cuz they were glossy i wanted to go back and complain about this but given the nature of the pic figured it was best not to. at least there were no cumstains
