| Coolness: 75985 | whoa there.. I think that the whole "what drug is best" debate is pretty played out.. I think it was kinda played out at some point in the 70s.. but I wasn't born yet, so I can't be sure. Some people like some drugs, and others like other drugs, some people like NO drugs. Generally speaking I trust people to know themselves and know what's good for them, personally, I agree aith DarkAngel, shrooms play off my own mind in a way I dislike. This does not mean I'm "unenlightened" or whatever, it just means its not my bag. What works for one does not neccesarily work for the other.
I mean, even doctors prescribe different things to different people with the same problem, because we're all different and react differently. |

 Coolness: 92980 | I think for most people it's much easier to badtrip on shrooms then acid, but as was said already, they do have different effects on different people at different times. It's really surprising how different people's effects are sometimes.
when I'm on acid I feel like I can manipulate anything. If I am pressured to pretend I'm not high, which happened a couple of times with my mom, it all comes so easily as if I know exactly what to do and say.. and it works even if I'm seeign worms crawling on the walls. When I take shrooms nothign works, which is either hilarious or just... bad. I dunno which one I like more. |

YOU DONT EVEN KNOW ME , N BTW A KNOW ALOT MORE PEEPS WHO FEEL THE SAME WAY AS ME. hum... my though is that people those day have a lot of issue/stress/fears.. and shroom can sometime exagerate those.. make you think....make you realise/understand stuff... and thats what people call "badtrip".... they dont feel good..they are scared/paranoid.. but thats not the shroom that cause that.. thats your brain.../ your ego... those experiences are not badtrip actually.. cause even the worst experience is there to make you realise something.... just think about it... |

drink a couple beer thinking about your super hot ex-girlfriend who dumped you 6 months cause your an asshole.. you feel depressed... drink a couple beer with some old friends at a party.. you feel good... now.. you can't say that beer is bad cause it make you depressed.. and you can't say that its good because it make you happy.. there is no good anwser... its not the substance itself... its you.. the settings... the whole states of mind you have when you consume... if you say to yourself "im not taking shroom...they give me badtrip".. you will have a "bad" experience for sure... you can't say its all the drug's fault... yes the drugs has a small part to do in that... but YOU create the trip itself... good or bad... its all you... |

 Coolness: 63305 | agreed. its all just pyschological trama either way you look at it. sometimes you're positively tramatized lke when you have those evanescent moments of lucidity and sometimes you're negatively tramatized like when you say something meaningly harmless to some random [not high] person and they flip out and in doing so send your acid trip into a spiral of self-concious chaos. |

| Coolness: 70115 | i agree with moondancer on it being easier to act sober on acid than shrooms, every time i popped cid my parents had no clue. god, this thread is makin me crave to trip again.......
i also agree on the fact that shrooms affect with ur emotions and lets u see thing, but its diffrenent than e though, i find that with e i can come to terms with certain emotional shit a lot easier than shrooms...... acid is just sooooo fun, but i havnt done it a loooong time so maybe the trip would be different, bope. |
