As funny as this article may be -because mind you, it is actually quite amusing, there is one thing that raises my eyebrow so high that it actually frightens me:

Is this website for real? (I would check my self, but after reading a few paragraphs from the article my attention span is nearly depelted)

It is also really convieniently ties in another story about Underground Nuclear Weapons. Fishy?

As good natured as this comment can be:
"California Democratic Senator, Dianne Feinstein, countered: "It is beyond me as to why you're proceeding with this program when the laws of physics won't allow a missile to be driven deeply enough to prevent deadly radioactive fallout from spewing into the air after a nuclear detonation." [ www.theregister.co.uk ]

It is still Flawed, because there are missles that can penetrate the earth and detonate afterweards (Bunker Busters developed for the Korean War) -and though he MAY be right about preventing any form of Nuclear Fallout; read this related article from ABC: [ news.bbc.co.uk ]

This excerpt tells it all: "This power yield would achieve the same damage while producing less fallout (by a factor of ten to twenty)."

B) It makes me ask: Are they actually developing weapons for preperations to a future Nuclear War?

Hmm...
