At first glance, I needed to rub my eyes, how ever this is no illusion. Yes, the Classic MTV animated Series is comming to the Big Screen and XBOX and PS2.

Expected time of release of the console versions of this series is expected to be sometime during the fall. The release of the Film itself will coincide with the release of the game -marketing I tell ya'.

Starring with Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron from Monster. Other notable talents that will be appearing in the film include Marton Csokas (Bourne Supremacy), Frances McDormand (Fargo), Sophie Okonedo (Hotel Rwanda), Jonny Lee Miller (Trainspotting) and Pete Postlewaite (The Unusual Suspects). The Aeon Flux movie is being directed by Karyn Kusama.

he Aeon Flux game will be based on Peter Chung's popular futuristic animated series and will blend stealth, speed and acrobatic combat elements together. Aeon Flux is a special agent whose abilities transcend everyday beliefs.

The film being released by Paramount Pictures/Lakeshore Entertainment's will see the Aeon Flux movie set 400 years in the future, when disease has wiped out the majority of the earth's population except for one walled, protected city-state, Bregna, ruled by a congress of scientists. The story centers on Aeon Flux (Charlize Theron), the top operative in the underground Monican rebellion, led by The Handler (Frances McDormand). When Aeon is sent on a mission to kill a government leader, she uncovers a world of secrets.

i used to watch aeon flux in the 6th grade. it was so wierd..i loved it.
