[ Download.com ] Review
Trillian simplifies your chat as well as your desktop and system resources by letting you simultaneously connect with the five most popular chat clients on the Web: Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, ICQ, mIRC, and AIM. By importing your passwords, buddy lists, various client preferences, and other chat specifics into its own simple interface, Trillian acts as a single hub for all your chat traffic.
Installation and setup are simple, and the included features are actually useful. You can check supported e-mail accounts with a single click, view detailed event logs for each client, and, of course, chat your brains out. Plus, there are individual options for each supported chat client. Trillian supports skins too, but they could be easier to install. Another drawback, though not a fault of Trillian, is the occasional loss of contact with the AIM client feature. Blame AOL for not playing well with others, and credit Trillian for fixing these blocks quickly.

Also noteworthy is the fact that Trillian is truly free. It contains no adware of any kind and has no time or functionality limitations. So if you’ve always wanted to learn a new language, chat using Trillian and you’ll be instantly multilingual.

Version 0.74 includes bug fixes and other minor enhancements.

"I love Trillian it's excellent"
I teach PSP and my students MUST have Trillian or they cannot enter the classes. I love that you can have all services in one place and not actually have them all installed on your computer. I highly recommend Trillian.

"Makes life much easier, let alone neater!"
No ads, no spyware, light on memory usage, good-looking and user-friendly. A must if you use more than one IM, but it's such an improvement on the icq interface, it's worth it just for that.

"Great little pager. Handy to a fault"
Is the greatest thing since sliced bread. The only problem i have had with Trillian is after a long period of use, if I get paged it locks up on me. Im sure they have fixed that with this new upgrade.

"Best Instant Messenger in the world!"
It's truly the best instant messenegr in the world. It combines the power of 5 Powerful and Popular chat mediums in the world, MSN, Yahoo!, ICQ, AOL and IRC. The looks are the coolest on any instant messenger ever seen. Though it doesn't have 'ALL' the features of every messenger, it has all the important features, and the developers keep adding the missing features with every new release. If you don't want too many messenger programs hogging your memory, and if you just want to chat without the frills, then this is the program for you. Please support this wonderful software by using it and telling iabout it to others, like I did.

I've been using it for something like a year and a half now.

It's he ONLY way to go if you use more than one chat program. Small footprint in memory, as opposed to MSN Messanger alone, which is like twice the size. Plus, the skinning options are great. My curent skin matches my ravewave color scheme since they're both what I have open the most often.

I needa life.

btw the skin overflow bug has nothing to do with the irc implementation :

and the ident server too i mean if someone use MIRC (for example) trillian will set his own ident server hence security problems!

and what is the point of using trillian if you cant use all the chat on it!at least theres msn,aim and Y!

msn is actually better on trillian tho ive came accross some bugs that werent not even existing in the trillian implementation but could crash msn ! (good job M$)

in the end all the software are crashable its just not out yet :)
