peanut oil is good for fries. people that are allergic should always ask if it is peanut oil, unless you like on st-cat and at-laurent, thenm for shure it's just overused lard.

i kind of figured that later on, i thought you were talking about cooking food and such.... not just doing it like the cournal

but for any dish, its good to do a olive oil garlic butter reduction, adds a great taste to you food, then de-glaze with white wine

I never cook on High...
The pans I use are too old, if I cook on High everything's gonna stick :( So I put it on Medium and it takes an hour to cook.
But with olive oil its ok ;)

Yah, peanut oil is bad. But I think most restos don't use it, too expensive ;)

yeah olive oil is the best with salad or pasta. Real olive oil tastes so good you could just use it as dressing itself, but you can also mix it with apple vinegar to make a healthy but tasty dressing.
