A rave dance-a-thon is where the people take off all of their clothes, paint their bodies with anti-perspirant glow paint, have to dance around all night with access to pills, and then get points taken off is they have to go get water.

A rave dance-a-thon: an event where people dance and enjoy music, show moves and styles if they would like, dancers could share their chorographies. It would be a dance competition for a good cause.

To tell you the truth, it was just an idea that popped into my head. I am not on the verge of making a dance-a-thon. I thought it sounded like a good idea.

Maybe, we should just stick to celeri-raves, huh?

....and whenever there IS rave coverage it is usually accompanied by widespread misinformed paranoia and a crackdown on drugs. i think the more unnoticed this scene is, the better it is for the people in that scene. what is it that you want to do here, get a feature article in the arts section of the gazette, or a spot on pulse news? what kind of coverage do you want?

yeah if u wanna give proceeds to a good cause, then well go ahead with my blessing :b but seriously, like morphine said......anyways, I gave up on trying to inform outsiders.....they dont really care anyways....well that's my opinion.

Well said. Although all things that want to remain "underground" eventually become huge, the only thing WE can do is change the outcome of the circumstances.

yes but nevertheless, we, as partisans in the scene, dont necessarily have to catalyse this phenomenon thru inviting media coverage by non-believing idiots.....

The rave scene reached it's peek a while ago and it's been going down ever since.

And whatever we have today is just a fraction of what it was back then.

Just like anything else.. rock n roll of today is a mere pussy fart of what it was for it's generation.

The moment you have events like bal en blanc and other all-night parties associated with the word 'rave' it's a pretty much good indication that the years of the 'underground' are gone.

Now what we have a is a mix of 'rave' and the club scene at the after-hours.

But even that doesn't cut it.
