| Coolness: 48670 | BROKEN TOY is 24 year old cutie James Copeland, from Cape Town, South Africa and is now signed to the british label ALCHEMY RECORDS since 2004, who gave us artists such as RINKADINK (Homeworld 3, 2004) and DARK SOHO.
Before becoming a part of the trance scene, James experimented being a guitarist and a bass player in various metal bands. However, this phase quickly gave way to a voracious appetite for electronic music, kick drums and thundering basslines…No one can argue that he made the right decision, considering his raging success throughout the world and all the invitation he gets from prestigious trance festivals such as the FULL MOON FESTIVAL in Germany ( [ www.fullmoon-festival.com ] ). He started producing and releasing psytrance tracks around 2001 and is a former member of DAMAGE, a full-on project from South Africa. As DAMAGE, he was one of the pioneers of the Cape Town hard psytrance scene, producing music along other south african artists like SHIFT, ARTIFAKT and PHYX. Moreover, James also formed a side project with his London roommate Vana (RINKADINK) called SNACK ON and we should be expecting releases from this quite promising new act very shortly. adam k is a newbie to the scene i'm just giving him a chance to play he usually plays at pub quartier latin, when they let him, but he's got a sick studio and can orchestrate anything. One of his preferences is electro-lounge. But he can do more... It is a live act by the way and if anyone will talent a chance it'll be us. ya it ain't an idj chill i just asked them to come join in the fun and they accepted I will be giving them a night that they can organize themselves anyway... so everyone is happy that's my point. working together destroys all weeknesses.... |
