Yah, I don't know why they dont' have "Techno" dj's anymore. I guess progressive house is what's popular these days. Or what the big boys enjoy cause they are sick of the old?
I'd say a big event worth attending but I dunno if it's worth the huge pricetag is [ www.rave.ca ] Underground Legacy cause it brings back some of the people from the day. Tigo of couse was one of the starting people for 514 Productions. But my question remains for this party is why 70$/ticket for basically talented locals. There is no way that place cost that much to rent and even if they get 1500 people I doubt the party will cost over 100,000$ but maybe I am wrong... Ow well everyone has to make money, and if your going to throw a big event you want to make big money, it's how the world works... As for celebration if you have the money then go cause it will be crazy. If your broke ass like many of the people on this site once you add up the cost of tickets, water and extras your up to a huge cost for a night when there are much cheaper places to be. At somepoint I hope this site attracts both the clubbers, commercial ravers and underground crew since one thing I know about montreal which does not happen in any other city is that people are part of multiple ideas and they don't limit themselves to just one style. It would be nice to have a common playground for everyone and Cris38, I hope you hang around here for a while. |

Picky picky... I just put it in quotes cause a lot of people have different impressions on "Techno"... Some people like my mom considers any BOOM BOOM music Techno, while others like you have a more refined version of the word. |

picky? version? I totally get what you're saying but it's not my version...it's just like saying I'm spanish cause some people call all hispanics spanish.....it's not a more refined version, it's just not true.....but yeah, I understand what you meant. |

Don't get me wrong, prog-house is not my favorite also, I'm actually more into the psy-trance stuff.
But then again I play bass in a rock band, listen to metal...I think there's good in all styles of music (just like there's also crap), that's what bring people together. By the way, just 14 days left!!!! |

Events at the Bell Center are usually really well organized. They regularly handle crowds of about
20 000 people, so 12 000 should be a breeze! The coat check and security is fast and that's a nice start. Also the temperature is quite controlled at the Bell Center, especially with half capacity Should be Great! |
