A household name in the city that never sleeps, KrazyGlue started the Drum N Breaks crew back in 1996 with his dj partner Shane and has pushed the breakbeat/drum and bass fusion ever since. With a strong love for all types of music and over 10 years experience playing jazz and alto saxophone, Krazy was well-grounded for success in the music industry. Performing at almost every major event in the tri-state area the past few years, numerous events up and down the East Coast from Florida up into Canada, and even making his way out to London in 2001 for a prime-time slot at the legendary Ministry of Sound, Krazy is working hard to make his name stick. Introduced to drum and bass during the mid-late 90’s jump-up years, Krazy has progressed to playing hard, dark, rolling, and soulful/ emotional drum and bass. You can also catch him spinning and cutting over a variety of breaks, nu-skool, hiphop, 80’s, and even rock n roll, sometimes on 4 decks with the rest of the crew. His deep roots in the early 90’s Long Island straightedge hardcore movement are evident during his energetic sets - and in his ability to connect the audience with the music to create enthusiasm and participation. Krazy has a few mixes to date: Kawzn Kaos (1998), Drum N Breaks (1999), Bananas (2000), Live at the Booth: WEMF (2001), The Horror (2003), and Realistic Girlfriend Attractive (2004). Original production includes: Konkrete Jungle Anthem (collaboration with NYC’s DJ Odi for Konkrete’s 7 year anniversary), and JBeez Comin Thru (a remake of the Jungle Brothers’ classic with DJ Wally). Recent projects include guest scratching with up-and-coming hip-hop artists Proximity Minds on a self-released EP called “Uncommon Universal,” plus a collaboration with Daryl Palumbo (Warner Recordings artist and Glassjaw frontman) and Head Automatica (H.A.). Head Automatica’s debut album, Decadance (produced by Dan the Automator) is set for a spring/summer 2004 Warner release. The formation of a new crew, Cardboard City, has spawned from these relations. CC includes Head Automatica, Dan The Automator, Cage Kennylz, DJ Wally, KrazyGlue, Shane, and more... Krazy and his crew were also featured on popular electronic music sites like [ www.breaksworld.com ] and [ www.selekta.com. ] His affiliations include his homemade company, Drum N Breaks, Cardboard City, plus UK-based organization Dekefex (a top-notch London dnb/hiphop company, which Krazy was asked to represent after his set at Ministry - the crew has received high praise in drum n bass magazines like Knowledge and ATM,), and also KSJ out of eastern PA. Aside from making noise in the clubs, Krazy and partner Myk1Cee have kept the beat going on Long Island for the past 5 years, with their popular summer weekly, Future Intelligence - featuring world-renowned talents like Dieselboy, Dara, DB, Reid Speed, Capital J, Pish Posh, Empress, DJ Odi, Myster Mason and MC Armanni, and many, many more over the years. Their most successful event, Tribute, raised and donated over $3,000 for the families of the Cantor-Fitzgerald victims in the 2001 WTC disaster, earning them great recognition from the surviving employees and even on Fox 5 News. |

there may come a day when our courage fails us, when we forsake all bonds of friendship and fellowship,
but that day is not today, today we struggle on with all our might. |
