i told them i will never pay for something when it's being extorted from me, and no one else in the world will be interested in that domain, so they can keep wasting their money on registration fees.

how hard was it?
i'm looking through ICANN's site, and there's a lot of legal forms i need to fill out to challenge the squatters..

they want it cause it's called "extortion", they snatch it up when i let it expire, then try to sell it back to me at 50 times the price i originally paid..

repent: wha'd you do? cause it seems i needa write up this formal shit and send off 5 copies.. etc etc..

it was 6 years ago man, I don't remember the process. I am sure it is documented on the ICANN site. It took a little while but it wasn't hard. If yoyu need to send off 5 copies, send off 5 copies.
