Wait till you see the flyer. 11x17 fold out poster with the evil RAVEZILLA rampaging through PLURville eating candykids. It's gonna be sick.

Re: HaF2 with Lenny Dee in November : Please note that we have not at this time signed a contract with Lenny Dee and want to clarify that this event is in the early stages of planning and will hopefully be solidified in the coming weeks.

why Lenny Dee?
there lots of awesome talent all over the world , i mean even way better then Lenny Dee, and btw did you guys ever realise that this guy maked his name on the back of other artists ,just one example: you know all the fuckin cd compilation with his name writen with huge letters on the cd and when you chek the tracklist theres NONE from him .... hes just pretty good with the mixer just like lot of people here combinned with some great bussiness skill ...
well i dont care in fact , just needed to say my opinion. But i can understand that if you throw a party you want to at least make your money back and with Lenny on the flyers it should work here.

We're bringing Lenny Dee back because out of all the artists we have worked with over 5 years, he is by far the nicest and most down to earth guy we've ever dealt with. His set at our last event was also the best set I'd ever heard from a headlining DJ.

And as far as making his name off the back of other djs because he releases mix cds - I have no idea how you can think that! There are literally thousands of djs who release mix cds, it's standard practice.

As far as not having his own tracks on there, he took a break from production for a while - his next compilation will feature his new track with Promo called I called You which is one of the craziest hardcore tracks I've heard in a while.

Anyways, it's a standard complaint that it's always the same djs coming back over and over, that we never get to see new talent. As far as I'm concerned, when I get a lot of people telling me me book a hot new artist, I'll look into it. But these artists are only going to get to the level where they can be realistically booked by producing tracks and getting exposure on mix cds like the ones Lenny is making all those millions of dollars on :-p

Lenny dee is not making mix cds first of all , well , ive got 3 trak on is last cd , i think i know what im talkin about. He just selecting the traks . He made his name out of his label to be more precise.
And dont mean he is bad, hes a great dj .

im not talking about bringin new talent. There are lot of international level artists working in the hardcore scene since more then a decade. People here are just not aware of whats going on the international hardcore scene.
...So anyways even if you bring the bigest super hardcore mega star of the moment to Mtl people would not show up to the party cause they dont know shit about it ( ie: Hellfish here not so long ago )... so forget what i say..
i understand the point of view of promoters, nobody wants to waste time and money. People want Lenny and manu so lets bring lenny and manu!

i think someone should organise a psytrance/happy hardcore/trance/hardtek/house party! ya! it would bring different people together and create a new ambiance! aight, now i had the idea... eh eh eh... but whos doing it? come on guys!

Scream..? Was missing HHC and house but had DNB...lol.
This is not a new concept; mixing style and stuff....but would be great....! :)

Ya, respect to Terroristkriss and I can tell you I agree with you 100%, there are so many artists I would LOVE to bring in, but it's just not possible. We work hard and lose our shirts already bringing in the uber-popular people!

The best thing to do to remedy the problem would be to sell hardcore cds ,records and tshirts at partys ,just like they do in europe. But again this need time and money...
