"I'm thinking max like 1h30-2h out of the city"
around ottawa theres a few. mooney's bay, which is on the ottawa river and can be kinda dirty.. but on the quebec side theres lac philippe which is a beautiful fresh water beach in gatineau park.. id give that about a 2 hr drive from montreal. enjoy your swim! |

True.
But anything with a lake can be fun. I mean at our cottage there are only big rocks underwater... no sand. But still fun to swim in there:) Kuz you've got cute little fishies that come to see who you are. And also kuz there are these big rocks in the water where you can sit on :) |
