I'd have to say Texas Chainsaw Massacre was the best one I've seen. SOO scary. And the Exorcist was awesome too. And Pet Semetary as well, but only cuz the sister Zelda was so damn creepy. |

it's summer... who watches horror movies during the summer? Hard to believe a serial killer will be going around montreal killing people on a beautiful sunny afternoon... aww crap... don't all horror movies start like that? :p |

event horizon, totally freaked me out. i have a problem with anything missing eyes. or anything involving a mouldy bitch - like the tv version of the shining. even blair witch's final scene with the screaming and the guy in the corner.
theyre all relatively tame compared to some of the stuff listed here, but i freak out on trippy imagery. really fast choppy little splices of whatever, tends to stick with me longer than mutilated bodies. |

okok, but you know how tlc had set up a staged documentary during the movie's release? i went to see it very early on while all the publicity was running rampant stating that it was a true account of something that happened in this little hick down in the states.
so i was a sucker to get thoroughly enraptured in it and freaked out. i wouldnt watch it again though, no more edge to it |

that movie where the girl gets raped by vines and the dude has to hack his gf to bits, night of the living dead or something. awesome movie. Interview with a vampire is also a awesome movie even though it wasnt really a horror still the best:P |

if it'd really happend, they wouldn't have put the actual video in theaters as entertainment.. that'd be tackless. |

Night of the Living Dead was the first movie that featured zombies that were hungry for flesh and not re-animated by voodoo, so it's the first modern zombie movie. The remake of The Ring was amazing, one of the few times where a remake is MUCH better than the original. Scared the crap out of me, too. Ju-On: The Grudge is worth checking out. It's getting re-made as well, but the original scared the crap out of me. Haute Tension, a french slasher movie, was pretty great up untill the end. The "twist" ending seemed too contrived and didn't make enough sence, but it's still one of the best slasher movies to come out in a long time. I mean, how often do you get to see someone get decapitated with a dresser? :D Amityville Horror 1 is being remade currently, I still love the original, and Amityville 2 is getting re-made as a TV movie to hype up the remake of Pt.1 (part 2 is actually the prequel to part 1 that shows the murders that took place in the house before the Lutz's moved in) There's a Dean Koontz penned TV serries coming out soon involving Frankenstein's Creature helping the LAPD track down Dr. Frankenstein, who's gone completely mad. After discovering the secret to creating life with The Creature, he used his experiments on himself to become immortal, and each week is going to be a new episode of The Creature helping the LAPD track down the mad doctor, because he's still making new creatures that go on killing sprees and are serial killers and such. |

remakes are usually the bunghole...
and ya'll should see Alucarda. That movie owns. Satan possessed lesbian orphans at a boarding school run by nuns. Incredible. It's also called Sisters Of Satan, Innocence From Hell and Mark Of The Devil III. btw - sexual tension in Jeepers Creepers... as you said - they're brother and sister. That's enough to give me wood!! Beyond that, though... the director doesn't like girls. They make him go the limp, apparently. He's all about the young boys. He's the same guy who made Powder and ran into trouble for having too many boys-in-the-shower scenes when it was revealed that he's a card carrying member of NAMBLA. |

Event Horizon was great. Probably the only Paul Anderson movie that I really enjoyed. Gothika was alright, but the last 2 releases on Dark Castle have really dissapointed me. Gost Ship and Gothika were both VERY mediocre compared to House on Haunted Hill and Thirteen Ghosts. |

I never saw Event Horizon... for some reason I think I always muddled it up with Sphere, which had a similar looking case - as I recall. |
