Less talk...more records...
[DRUM & BASS] Tali - Lyric On My Lip REMIXES PART 2 on Full Cycle. I should have to say much about this one. Ed Rush & Optical drop their skills on this anthem and come up with the best remix yet. Anthem Alert! As if that weren't enough, Marky & XRS's notorious remix is on the flip, which was only available through the Full Cycle website on limited edition one-sided whitelabel. Now both these killer cuts can be yours...if the rice is right! Various - RAM Raiders Vol.5 on RAM. Night Breed bring the ruckus with their first appearance on RAM, metal 'n bass is the order of the day with 'Pack Of Wolves'. Flip for Shimon & Andy C's 'Lockdown'. Then check the next disk for 2 more killer cuts: Moving Fusion & Shimon's 'Mysterons' hits the spot with Ant Miles feat. Sare X 'Soak It Up' on the flip. Calibre - Mr.Maverick/Highlander on Signature. Holy shit. Dub in your head bizzznissss. Killer vocal sample along with Calibre's sickest bassline to date. A nice little amen roller on the flip makes this his most accessible record as well. Shy FX & T Power - Number 1/Ritual on Ebony Dubs. Number 4 actually, in this series of heavy hitters from the Ebony camp. More straight-up dancefloor workout material and this is all killer...no filler. Jo - R-Type/Shogun Audio Remix feat. Frenzic on Shogun. Friction presents his brand new imprint Shogun Audio, and brings it back to the old school. R-Type is a classic jam that brings back wicked memories for me (not just of Nintendo). Friction updates the tune tasfully alongside Frenzic, and it definetly hits the spot. 4hero - The Remix Album Volume 1 on Raw Canvas. While this isn't really new, when it comes to godfathers of d&b 4hero aka Dego & Marc Mac, it's never really old. This stuff still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. The first disk is strictly remixes they've done, while the second is other artist's remixes of 4hero. Basically it's all about this: The rare remix of Nuyorican Soul as well as little gem they made out of Scarface's 'I Seen A Man Die'. Silent Witness - The Sands/Trench on Commerical Suicide. The last one was green and this one is red, collect them all! Various - Skool Of Hard Knocks on Renegade Hardware. Once again, I will only put the tracklisting and let you decide for himself. Loxy & Keaton - Haters The Militia - War Cry Pendulum & Bulletproof - Minds Eye DJ Ink - B-Boy Convention Digital - Ego Bad Company & Verse - Antrim Drumsound & Simon Bassline Smith - Bandsaw Universal Project - Comin' Through Keaton - Skool Of Hard Knocks Concord Dawn & Ill.Skillz - Unreal yeah I know, it's big. [BREAKS] Vandal - Bodywave/Ronin on Plastic Raygun. Sole Claw - Goth Chick Hand Job/Skool Of Thought RMX on Pure Phunk. Blake Jarell & Starkid - Apricot/Momu RMX on 3 Beat Breaks. Kool Moe Dee - I Go To Work (Breaks Remix) on white. Unknown remixers (plump?) remix this classic hip hop jam into instant dancefloor chaos. Koma & Bones feat. Robert Owens - Take Me Back on TCR. Koma & Bones Remix, BLIM Remix, 'nuff said. C83 feat. Tamra - Twisted Logic/Christian J RMX on En:vision. Subtropic and Burns - Black Velvet EP on 2wars. features: Pablo Thermodor, Hard Money & Black Velvet. Plump DJs - Eargasm LP on Finger Lickin'. Repressed for your pleasure. More shit on friday? say what? Corey DNA Records 28 Pine Ave East. Montreal, Quebec (514)288-9DNA [ www.dnarecords.com ] |

I'm going to have to re-order that LP...and a few other things. It's a good thing we're getting a whole new shipment on Friday.
