Paul: yeah deisel shit is expensive, I was looking at some of their jeans recently and the cheapest I have found were 160$... But at least they are good quality jeans made in Italy. As for a t-shirt, it depends also whether it is a simple t-shirt print or one of those more complex multi-material ones.. I saw some t-shirts at Simon's that were in the 80-100$ range but they were not simple prints they had complex layers and patterns of different material... I guesse paying that much for that kind of cut is not so bad. |

If I get the job I have an interview for on tuesday.. I am for sure getting another pair of good jeans, and I wouldn't mind spending 200$ on deisel because their stuff lasts for years |

lakester: the reason I like their jeans is it is the only pair of jeans I ever had that lasted more than 6 months without getting fucked up |

I spend alot on some of my clothes but I take super good care of them and I wear them for years. So I get my moneys worth.
As for diesel.. they have a great outlet store so why so why spend 200 when you can get em as cheap as 30 and theres a store that sells em all for 75.. |

Yeah I tend to spend more when it comes to pants and shoes and less when it comes to shirts and stuff |

I don't mind spending the money when it's good quality stuff i'm getting in return. point final. I work hard for my money, don't have to buy rent or food, so why not spend it while I can? |

yeah pretty much.. PLus I'd rather have lots of shirts, which means I need cheaper ones... I can deal with less pants and shoes, which means I can spend more on each purchase, and have to make sure it lasts a while |

the thing is, diesel makes some of the cheapest quality jeans around.. the whole "faded" part of the pants are sandblasted.. do any of you know what that implys?? a pressure gun squirts sand on the material, using it up and leaving a nice finish.. note the USING IT UP part.. i mean, don't get me wrong, i love there line of clothing.. and if i could afford to wear only diesel i'd do it in a second, but lets not confuse GREAT FITS with HIGH QUALITY... :)
bref, i picked up a pair about a year and a half ago, and there the one's in the worst shape.. not awful shape, but the material is starting to deteriorate.. (given that ripped jeans are IN style these days, they don't look bad even tho i know that it was the washing machine's fault).. |

HA. i can show you pretty simple designer tshirts for 400$ +, but i'm talkin Gsus... its nice and all but not for 100$ and paul- what designer teeshirts were 400$+ dollars? even Christian Dior teeshirts aren't alot more than 100$ yes they are... [ www.eluxury.com ] 175$ U.S. they've had for cheaper- and it's still closer to 100 than 400 |
