I was just looking through some websites and there is an insame amount of djs in the USA... Go figure they have 10x the amount of people we have here in canada that means they probably have at least 10x the amount of djs... Which means 1/2 of them probably suck ass and the other hald are probably decent which leaves a lot of decent djs...

Everyone in the US also has a car since most people live in the middle of the boonies and need to drive to get anywhere interesting...

So I figure most of these people would love to play up here in canada and would play for free to get known a little more... I think more people should be booked from out of town ;)...

I think the main reason DJ's stay in the U.S. is partially because maybe we don't get asked to play in Canada and we don't ask if we can play. Also I think because much of the U.S. scene is underground still due to the laws and the pressure that the Police put on electronic music, alot of DJ's work hard and stay in their hometowns trying to make it mainstream. You are right though, we do have an ample amount of good dj's they are just really localized. I dj and if you would like me too I would play in Canada sometime, I don't make it up there very often. Also if you are interested ,Minneapolis, St. Paul Minnesota has a small, but really good scene. Thats were I am from, the Twin Cities are porbably about the size of the Montreal area.

Ok then the twin cities are slightly bigger with a population in excess of 2.6 million and no subway and right now the city bus workers are on strike in Minneapolis, you guys are smart with your public transportation
