This is going to be a long, vicious, evil battle that will either spell the end of verisign or the end of the internet. The latter will probally not happen, and the former is extremely likely. Two law suits have already been filed against verisign, and it will probally not stop there. There are many different reasons to sue VeriSign, from fucking up network diagnostics to anti-spam measures implemented by various big companies, to just the simple fact that the majority of internet users will be brough to a search engine and will assume that the website they are looking for is gone, never existed, or that VeriSign's SiteFinder is what is there anyways, then they explore SiteFinder's paid links to other companies, draining business. One thing that might happen is that verisign has to register every single possible [ .com ] and [ .net ] domain since in theory, thats what they've done. There are literally BILLIONS of domains that can possibly exist, and even at $1 / year / domain, thats several billion dollars every year in expenses. We'll see... |

but at least they don't deny it they do conform to HTML standards, even if they are old ones :) But hey, if you want to put me down for telling you how to do HTML properly, thats your business. Ignorance is bliss afterall |

| Coolness: 339965 | it's not ignorrance, web browsers have been accepting FONT tags since HTML v1.0
just because their might be supposedly 'better' methods of doing things doesn't mean that the older method is no longer valid. font tags load fast, and the way i coded them to look. you can believe you are a far superior coder all you want and follow perfect coding habbits, and never actually make anything. I will continue to actually make things. |

| Coolness: 339965 | nah not really.. they have a lot of stuff, but it's not the most complex system in the world. though every page load prolly has a huge strain on the server given the ammount of info that gets displayed. |
