I love superhero stuff and I just knew that if I started watching it I'd go insane waiting for the next episode, so the week after the 1st season ended, me and my roommate watched the whole 22 episodes in one day

Besides. Having to see Milo Ventimiglia once a week wasn't all that bad. :P

Having to see Milo Ventimiglia once a week wasn't all that bad. :P I loved the idea of the show, but I find that after season 1 it really lost what it had building up.. I loved the characters, but every season was just trying to be the first season all over again; someone sees the future, something horrible is going to happen, we have to stop it, but even though we've got awesome powers and could stop what's going to happen in 15 minutes, we're all just going to be really fucking EMO about being different and how no one is going to understand us and call us freaks and spend all but the last 2 episodes of the season moping and being a little bitch.. They tried to keep the heroes too human and not enough HERO! That's why Sylar was the best character in the whole show; he knew what he was, he accepted it, and he loved it! If you've got power, use it! It's stupid not to! That's like someone that can run or swim at an olympic level, that KNOWS they're the best and fastest in the world, not trying to get into Guiness or go to the Olympics..

I agree with Sylar being the best character but not for the same reasons. He was very human, going back and forth, dealing with his insecurities and everything he did wrong was tainted by that pain he seemed to carry with him. He was sometimes jaded and sometimes hopeful; all of which making him very human. Not mentioning the “I am a hero!” he proudly says at the end of the season 4 finale. He’s just like anybody else: trying to fit in, find his place in the world and what-not. I think that the show could have explored the relationships between the characters a little more. The only relationships we saw were the ones between Noah and Claire / Nathan and Peter (oh yeah… and that brief encounter between Peter and Sylar) and those relationships didn’t evolve. The characters all seemed isolated which was funny considering how MANY characters “Heroes” had. Actually, they had too many of them and at the end, we didn’t feel like we knew them anymore than we did at the very beginning. That always annoyed me.
