Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor are too busy doing REAL movies to be associated with cartoons ? Not only that but why is there a need to have at least ONE ANNOYING character in every Star Wars movie ? First, there was Jar Jar who sounded like a really stoned out jamaican now it's Ahsoka Tano's piercing teen voice like some Hannah Montana reject. I mean, it's bareable but I'm tired of Georges Lucas' constant attempts at reaching out to kids by throwing in a " teenish " character or one who talks funny to get kids interested. Star Wars plots are so intricate, I fail to see why we should make it " under 12 years old " compatible so they can think " Ahsoka is soooo cool and she kicks butt " while understanding NADA about who the clones are and why " Palpatine is soooo mean ". In this day and age, kids STILL identify to mature characters as " cool " heroes without resorting to someone prepubescent clumsy and insecure pseudo-dork running around and asking dumb questions. I must admit, the movie DOES look awesome but I'm not gonna be able to stand her fucking whining voice more than 15 minutes without expecting her to go " LIKE, OMG OBI-WAN, WATCH OUT ! " and " * sigh * god, droids are sooooo creepy, you know ? " CLONE WARS = WIN Georges Lucas' outreach to kids = FAIL |

Actors don't make good voice actors. Usually. Most of their talent come from combining expressions with dialogs. Voice actors only rely on dialog. They're also a hell of a lot cheaper. You can hire a voice actor for $10,000 or Ewan for a few millions. Which would you choose? Provided that you don't need to see the actor, what ensures more profits? James Arnold Taylor is the voice of Leonardo in TMNT and Ratchet in Ratchet and Clank, btw :) <3 voice actors. |

I couldn've found a better explanation myself. All of that makes absolute sense. I guess that's why James Arnold Taylor does a better impression of Ewan McGregor than Ewan McGregor. |
