Well, I'm on a forced break right now (hardware issue) so I whipped up Aerial's char. I present to you: Deep Sea Bride 
During the tragic events of the Dark Matter Crisis, many humans, as well as meta-humans, were trapped in the Fractal Zone. Jessie Renaud was one of them. Cheerful and full of colours, she wanted nothing more than to have a good time. However, fate was not so kind. The corrupt officers of Ravopolis kidnapped her and many others that night. They wanted to splice meta-powers and create new, controllable, super-heroes. What they failed to realize was that Jessie has a particular bloodline, one deeply-rooted in mystery and madness. Going as far back as New England's Whateley family, the blood that ran through her veins was not entirely human, though the difference was not enough to produce any sizable change. Injected with a synthetic serum that was supposed to emulate Gabber Bitch's powers, Jessie felt at once the painful transformations that would continue occurring over the next few days. Her skin turned green. Gills appeared near her jaw line. Worse, she started seeing things that were not of this world. The Ravopolis scientists tried to calm her rapidly increasing violence but to no avail. It was as if her mere presence turned them to gradual insanity. She could hear from very far the faint echoes of a strange chant. Leaving the humans she now thought as inferior, she searched for the source of the chant. She found it in the Pacific Ocean, where a race of fish-looking creatures bowed to her, giving her the sacrificial dagger and crowning her as Princess of R'lyeh. They stated that once she had caused enough damage to the outside world, she would be worthy of being the master's bride. She smiled at the prospect and went back to dry land. Deep Sea Bride is not exactly a villain. While she does indeed cause madness wherever she goes, she is learning to control it. She does not mean unjust harm to anyone, though this often occurs indirectly. She cares for life in general. However, her personal ambitions supersedes her feelings on the matter. She will get the job done. However, she has no problem helping out the good guys when it does not interfere with her own dealings. Still, she has no qualms fighting the said good guys if they block her path. Powers: Mind-control (instill madness), Breathe and Swim/Walk in water, Drain energy (using sacrificial dagger). (If you feel that it is a Namor ripoff, minus the cthulhu backstory, I'll retort that every single water-based hero/villain has almost the same story). |
