Actually it was funny for about a week, the shirts was too much and to be quite honest we have milked this whole thing for all it's worth. I also agree that of late pretty much every thread went off topic really fast. It seems to be a specialty of [ rave.ca ] nowadays, then again with only one moderator that never locks topics or does anything to prevent trolling that's pretty much what you will get on any given message board. |

I usually post more seriously in this section, but it's easy to get caught in the sillyness when you're in a good mood ;) I think perhaps you should just ignore whoever bugs you, there are still many intelligent and interesting replies. But some topics should be locked indeed! |

I used to post insanely long posts about the rave since dieing (laugh it up, it actually was the bulk of my replies for a long while) and how people were retarded enought to take my posts and ridicule them.
I felt sorry that raver kids didn't want to listen to what I had to say after spending so much time in the SINCE and having learned from my mistakes and felt frustrated that they preferred to stay stupid than listen with interest and genuine desire to acquire more knowledge on the subject. It reminds me some one else on here *looks at H----S* But then I realized TWO fundamental thing lately : 1. Kids are kids. That's what kids do. Fuck things up and laugh about it. Anything to avoid responsability. And I've learned to be jealous of that, of that " meh, whatever " attitude when bad things happen. I'm nervous by nature and would benefit from not freaking out when random things fuck up. So I've learned to relax, smoke a phat one and just genuinely LAUGH for the sake of having fun. 2. preaching fucking sucks. Admit it, it just does. You HATE your teacher at school, the last thing you want is to continue the learning process on here. Not only that being told " I've made that mistake, don't do it ! " all the time doesn't work for me and probably anyone else, anymore. You learned from YOURS mistakes, not everyone elses. And shit, I've been told numerous times not to do something because it would suck and it turned up to be excellent. Why ? They are mistakes according to YOUR interpretation, not everyone elses. So now, I keep it clean and simple and the whole reason I come here is to have fun, relax and instill as much humor as I possibly can in everything I say. Because HUMOR IS FUN. My own 2 friggin' cents, yo. |
