Wicked Lady
look up for spywares and delete them. It will probably speed up your comp and make space in your HD. You can use Ad Aware, or Spybot Search and Destroy See, first time I used Ad Aware it found something like 100 spywares... lol So it's probably something like that that's slowing down your computer... Good luck! :) |

On tyhe desktop I am running a 2 gigahertz celeron P4 with 768 megs of ram and 195 gig of storage.
On the laptop it's a P4 3.20 with hyperthreading, 768 megs of ram and 60 gig of storage. |

my bad, i made a mistake.
32 bit systems can have up 4 Gigs of ram. 64 bit can go upto 32 terabytes of ram i believe. So, this downplays the need for 64 bit all that much more, and makes scotty's arguement moot. |

Maybe you should talk to Apple's marketing team and tell them to stop throwing around the 64-bit thing also. Your argument reminds me of the "640k will be enough for everybody" quote that is often attributed to Bill Gates. Just because you don't need 2,4, or 8 gigs of ram doesn't mean other people might not benefit from it. I sure would like to do multitrack audio mixing straight from ram if I could, and you could easily eat up gigs of ram doing that.... |
