| since hwne is the plateau a safe area to live in I belive that the police stats for 2003 noted that the plateau had the highest break ins and theft in the city of mtl...
also I dont know if that is still considered the plateau or it might be called center sud...
good luck if you live on the ground floor make sure you have bars on your windows or an alarm system... |

| Apparently the plateau also has the highest ratio of junkies in the downtown area,... I remember reading an article a lil while back about people finding all sorts of syringes in their back yards & shit which is filthy & potentially dangerous. I'm sure the high crime rate is directly affiliated with the heroin junkies who cant afford to support their fix.
Otherwise I like the plateau,... its good geographically, easy access to public transport,... lots of cafes, etc |

| yeah it does have the highest break ins.. trust me |

| unless you plan on making your ground floor place as secure as fort knox I would never take a ground floor place in the plateux way to many break ins, to many junkies, to many drunk mcgill students... the majoriy of the places are run down and the landlards are scum bags who never fix any thing... |

| yeah the plateau kicks ass i must admit.. another reason im moving there in like 5 months! |
|
Coolness: 49775
| fuck man I dont know I think there is still a dealer or 2 or 3 or 10 thats in that area still or the junkies would not all be around...... my girl friend used to live around there and decided to move away from there this past fall becasue of it... she got sick and tiered of all the junkies...
I laugh at plateau folks who say that st henri is sketchy when I see way more sketchy things going on in the plteaue way more then st henri... |
