An End To The Religious Debate

Ok smart guys...
stop debating religion. Why? THERE IS NO ONE HERE WHO CAN PROVE THAT GOD EXISTS OR IS NONEXISTENT. though it is not impossible to say with 100% certainty that either one is true, it is an impossibility to prove it with credible, reliable fact. Claiming that one side is flawed in its ideas is not fact by the way. |

AHA! I'LL TAKE YOU ONE STEP FURTHER, DEATHTOCANDY, AND SAY THAT THERE IS NO ONE HERE THAT CAN PROVE THAT I EXIST, OR THAT YOU EXIST, OR THAT ANYTHING EXISTS.
AND THEREFORE WHAT IS THE POINT DEBATING ANYTHING? BY THE WAY, TRYING TO SAY THAT I AM WRONG MAKES ANYONE WHO POSTS BELOW TRANSPARENTLY IRRATIONAL. ANY ARGUMENT OF MY POINTS WILL BE REFUTED AS INVALID, EMPTY, WORHTLESS, CIRCULAR OR ILLOGICAL. onelove |

And I do not want any of you philosophical fuckers to reply to this saying "Its my reality, there for what I believe exists, since perception is based on conception". |

I can prove that you exist more than ANYONE can prove god exists. You can be touched. You can be heard (unless you actually shut up for once in your life ;)). We can see you. And if we get close enough to you and not have you want to kick our ass, I'm certain that we could smell and taste you.
Now, all I want is god to show me any part of himself. I want to hear his voice. I want to smell god's armpit or feet. I'd like to lick the sweat off the back of god's neck. I'd like to hear him say "hello". Untill god does this, anyone who believes in god is a gullible loony, and anyone who believes in THEMSELVES are the people who get my respect. |

anyways, i'm gonna get my non-existent self (which i'm absurdly and inherently BOUND to believe in nonetheless -by my equally non-existent intellect) into bed...

Taking a theology class last semester at Concordia dealing with the models of revelation (God's self disclosure)
One theologian, Auguste Sabatier who I found struck a chord within when saying " Ones faith needs no proof." Sabatier, one of the contemporary Theologians who created the experiential model, claims that no ecclesiastical structure is needed when concerning religion. God's self revelation is an unmediated experience between God and the recipient. Thus making an attempt to disprove religion or gods for that matter useless. |

Thats exactly what i believe and what Sabatier believes. You shouldn't have to proove your faith to anyone, aslong as you have you faith, salvation is on the horizon. |
