A DIFFERENT APPROACH
As a Christian, I was pleased reading, "New medical marijuana collective
opens in Sausalito," (IJ, Dec. 15) and learned from it. If Marin County
Sheriff Robert Doyle is opposed to medical marijuana cooperatives because he
believes they're hiding behind Proposition 215 to be distributors and
sellers of a banned substance, then perhaps he along with Marin law
enforcement agencies can get involved in the process.
It could help add to safety for the cooperatives and citizens, ensure
they survive for people that honestly benefit and gain trust in the
community.
Sick citizens would be grateful.
