BURNT MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED METH-MAKING

CAYUCOS - A San Simeon man was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing
methamphetamine after he was found on fire in a hotel room late Friday
night.

Shortly before midnight, firefighters found 44-year-old Charles Dwayne
Villa on fire inside a burning room at Cypress Tree Motel.

According to a County Narcotic's Task Force spokesman, the methamphetamine
lab was in operation when fumes ignited, starting the blaze.

Villa was treated at General Hospital in San Luis Obispo, then transported
to San Luis Obispo County Jail where he was booked.
