STUDENTS LEARN TO 'JUST SAY NO'

My child attends Davis Elementary School in Morada. We recently celebrated
Red Ribbon Week.

The children are learning to say no to the negative and yes to the
positive. They are saying yes to healthy lifestyles, which include no
drugs. As a parent and as the PTA president, I would like to thank UOP
softball coach Brian Kolze and his team members who came to our school to
talk to our student body. As major role models, they have made a tremendous
impact on many young people simply by showing them how hard work,
determination and self-discipline can pay off.

By sharing with them personal choices along the way, the softball players
have proved that true friends will stick by you if you "just say no."
