Je suis persuadé que les nouveaux ravers voient dans les raves d'aujourd'hui la même chose que nous on voyais quand on a commencé. D'ailleurs, je me souviens que quand j'ai commencé, il y avais plein de monde qui chialait que c'était mieux avant.

C'est plus une question de perception. En bout de ligne, le principe est le même. Djs toute la nuit, le monde prennent de la drogue, et le monde sont friendly. Ce thread est la preuve même que l'attitude "rave" existe encore, même si on peut avoir plus de misère a l'appercevoir.

Dans le fond, c'est les nouveaux ravers qui font la scène. Sa prend des promoteurs et des djs pour que sa tienne, mais les trippeux qui viennent pour danser sont ceux qui mettent vraiment le party dans la place.

I don't really care. I don't personnally celebrate xmas. I don't believe in Jesus, and I feel like people being generous only this time of the year are being hypocrites. Still, I'll go to parties since I know my family want me too. I just feel the whole present thing is just a whole gimmick to sell toys. (xmas is the only time of the year I get all hippy about these things too) :p

I also don't have that much money, and buying xmas present does have an impact on my budget.

In case of special tickets, I'm thinking of older hard as fuck tickets as an example. There was a party where the ticket was a little key. It's fun to see pictures of original tickets like these.

It is caused by exercise. The same way someone who jogs every morning clears up his thoughts. Intense physical exercise can create a trance. This was used in some tribal rituals. Dancing around the fire kind of thing. I also heard this trance is addictive. It's not a dangerous addiction, since exercise is healthy, but supposedly, you get addicted to your own endorphins. (I haven't verified if this is true or not, just something I heard)

Actually, a lof of ravers experience that on speed. Speed isn't directly responsible, it just makes people dance enough to reach that stage. Since you don't need drugs to dance (duh) you reach the exact same stage naturally.

This is the kind of thing I kinda "forced" on my family. I decided that they should accept me as who I am, and will never go against my values, or spend money that I don't have, for my family. They do understand me better now than they used to. Plus, everyone knows a month in advance that I won't give out anything, and they do know that I want to keep the money so i can throw raves with it. Well, everyone in my family does have guestlist for my party, so if someone wants a present...

Well, you do have a choice. Everyone in my family knows, I won't give out any xmas gifts, cause I just don't have the money, and I'm not expecting anyone to give me any. If they want to, fine, but I don't really care if someone doesn't give me presents.

Anyways, to me, xmas is just another excuse to get drunk :p
