honestly, as much as I like the violence, I much prefer the talent and if I had to choose between the two... I'd vote for the elimination of the violence. Olympic hockey is actually really fun to watch because they have strict rules against violence, which allows good players to skate faster and actually play hockey instead of worrying about their health and totally holding back.

I understand that... and I haven't been to Open mind so again, I'm not even a half-decent judge here.
I suppose open mind seems to be about a lot more than 'raving', and in fact not even oriented towards it all, which would make it the best place to bring your kid IF you insist on bringing your kids to that type of thing...

I also strongly believe in the freedom of belief, so just because I wouldn't do it, doesn't mean I be grossly insulted to see some parent do it. There's an infinite amount of types of people and the 'truth' is that there's no right or wrong.
What some might see as retaining innocence, others might see as pushing ignorance... it's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.
I just ask that you parents out there think about your kid first and then your desires... if you want a carefree life without consequences for those you are responsible for, don't have kids, yet.
