| Coolness: 64205 | i don't see the scene as being dead simply because i don't go to be cool and fit in with the cool people (and this is not a sarcastic jab at any group) whether i go by myself or with some friends i don't care.
the scene to me is not about being seen. i go for the music, i go to parties that are playing the music that i like. i dance because the music tells me to, not some drug pulling my strings. if other people do drugs what do i care? been there done that, found it was stupid. and as for having to talk to people who are cracked out....if you find them that annoying tell them to fuck off. if you really don't like them what do you care if they think you're mean? maybe they'll get the hint that they're being mighty fucking annoying in their drugged out party-babble and think twice about getting stoned the next time. who knows, who cares......i really don't. drugs are a personal choice and being a a condesending bastard who assumes everyone is a junkie is not the best way to try to make people agree with you that drugs are bad. you have absolutely no affect on their decision making process. if they fuck up that's their shit to deal with....... yadda blah blek ahhhhh this is such a waste of time who fucking cares anyways? y'all can do whatcha want, like, whatever man |

you have drug abusers, recreational users, and on and on... it's like anything else, you just can't generalize. if you take some coke, or a speed, or an E or a bump of K or meth and are reduced to a slobbering idiot, fine, that is annoying. but anyone who is smart enough to moderate and regulate their use of ANY drug obviously has some kind of head on their shoulders... so when all else fails and you have no one left to blame - blame drug users! maybe you should try looking in the mirror first. |

there's supposed to be some amount of tolerance for people, in everyday life and it has to be stretched to parties and gathering too - perhaps stretched to the limits. i could rant about how i'm fed up with the careless drunks and how it still upsets me when people expose me to their cigarette smoke... but that's not what it's about in the end. i'll deal and/or avoid the same situations in the future. i think certainly there is a destructive level of drug use. the world is full of substances and choices ... there will be people who take all roots. you also make choices in how to deal with these people, as you do yourself. hmm i'm rambling on about people... but perhaps we're all in this together. may i suggest compassion? it works both ways... it's that mindfulness for yourself and others sorta thing...y'know? haha i'd like to cha-cha-cha my way away... rawk the shelltoes - goddam! |

Sorry , that wasn't my point ... And i was talking about the -other - ravers, not anyof the people that goes into Renegade Legion's , IDJ'S and all underground parties ... I was talking about the common persons that becomes ravers on week-ends, and think they're -cool- and they-get the buzz- from taking alot of pills ... As if they needed that to have fun ... So many people told me when they go -raving- , they take 2 speeds, 2 e's, ghb, k, etc.... That is scary ... I wasn't dissin' pills in general ... Took some, not anymore , well just once in a while, so occasionnaly .... And i'm pretty sure that i look dumb when i'm over-stoned too .... |
