A push didn't kill him. His pre-disposed condition to heart failure did.

Two Cops Held Liable in Screwdriver Assault

A man is set to get 4 million dollars due to an assault involving two cops and a screwdriver during a drug search. 23-year-old Coprez Coffie claimed the officers abused his rectum with a screwdriver causing injury.

A forensic test found that there was fecal matter from a human in the glove compartment of the car.

The Chicago Police Department has not and does not plan on suspending or taking action against the two officers.

long-ass video, but here's someone who knows his rights and isn't letting the cops conduct an illegal search and forcing them to follow the laws that they're supposed to uphold.

ha! you're right, it's long as hell... I'm only 10 minutes in.

but this guy's got balls! ... and he's clever enough to keep his cool

I wish I knew my rights like that.

I'm surprised they haven't shot him by this point in the vid ... gonna keep watching

Interesting video Screwhead... few things popped into mind.

Border patrol has way more powers in regards to searching vehicles. Same thing with Control Routier in regards to trucks here in Quebec. Actually Control Routier doesn't need any suspicions nor probable cause at all...

The guy edited his video at 3:45 when the agent was explaining the legal grounds for the interception and car searching. This guy was planning to make a scene and cause some shit from the very beginning when he brought his camera in the car (intent).

At 13:50, the officer explains the difference between suspicion and probable cause. A dude with a camera refusing to role down his window (actus reus, and also from the officer's point of view; mens rea) is suspicious whilst someone with 20 Mexicans in his back seat all wearing sombreros is, albeit exaggerated, probable cause. Even after the explanation, the guy keeps talking about probable cause when this situation has nothing to do with it (again explained by the officer at 17:29).

I guess we can say patience is a virtue for both parties.

Letting someone go doesn't mean they won't send you shit by the mail like a ticket or court date.

ya. I love the way that video played out, but all the while I am thinking how badly things like this can end.

I remember when I was 19, I was riding around late at night in London Ontario trying to get to my friend's place, and I got pulled over by cops - ostensibly cuz I didn't have a light on my mountain bike

the cops were just dying for an excuse to fuck with me. they shone a light n my face, asked me all kinds of aggressive weird questions, basically treating me like a criminal

so they take my ID and run it through... then they asked me what my phone number is. I explained I haven't done anything wrong, and they already have my address, so if for some weird reason they do want to contact me they can serve me a summons at my door

they then accused me, in so many words, of seeming like someone who had been in trouble with the law before. i told them i had no criminal record and I know they have no right to ask me for my phone number, and that I just want to go home

THEN the one cop yells at me "Look! we can take you downtown right now so SHUT UP!"

the guy actually had a vein standing out on his forehead - they were DYING for an excuse to arrest me and beat my ass

so i realized... even though I am doing nothing wrong, you gotta just stay quiet and do as you are told - otherwise, they'll just jump on you and make up a reason later

so I kept quiet - they say to me "here's your ticket - see you in court" - then they took off.

since i've never had a ticket, it was only later that I realized they hadn't actually written me one - they were just fucking with my head.

assholes.

point being, it taught me to be very quiet and mannerly when dealing with cops, and try not to give them any excuse to flex on you

nowadays I'm a zen master when it comes to dealing with police. I don't act like an idiot and draw attention to myself, so they dont fuck with me

the odd time I ever have to talk to one, I just present myself as a polite citizen who respects the law - no problem. if I was to act like a hardass who wants to challenge their frail little ego, they're gonna crush me

bullies don't like it when you stand your ground.. and just because you are right, you can still wind up getting your ass kicked

unfortunately with this guy in the vid Screwface posted, that is exactly what happened to him the next time he got stopped, which was a couple weeks ago

this time he pushed his luck, resisted when he should probably have co-operated, and they were more than willing to bust his ass =(

that sucks

I'm watching the vid of him explaining what happened right now

I decided to do some extra research on this pastor as he seems like someone who's been up to this for a while. Indeed, I've found many other altercations of him with peace officers. I suggest you look at the 3:13 marker in the below video where you see the pastor following a police officer whilst video taping him and asking him questions about the relevancy of wearing such hardcore gear at an airport (HELLO!?!?). I mean... is this guy an idiot just looking for trouble?

Pay attention to 3:13 marker...

For a pastor that has no college degree [ www.faithfulwordbaptist.org ] preaching the word of God and peace. I really find it ironic that he isn't even able to reflect on the words and passages that he implants as he tarnishes other people's souls.

Pigs Will Pay

Thought, word and deed once sloganeered: a reaction undefined. The battle-hymn, the mantra of a once unfocused mind. But as logic tempered anger, (still inspired, but now informed), the “pigs” we’d turned to caricature became far worse that we’d warned. Morality enforcement based on the interest of a state. Coerced into concordance and threatened into place. It’s not just isolated incidents of cop-jocks kicking ass. It’s a fucking war machine protecting the wealth of the employing class
I'm feeling too much work right now..

yes. he's an idiot looking for trouble.

from the first video I thought he was some random citizen who really knows his rights and takes no shit.

now I think he is just some disturbed trouble-maker. and I think I heard a baby crying in the backseat in that last vid, while he is bickering with some other border cop.

he shouldn't be exposing a child to this type of bullshit
