i threw that party on October 15th 1999.
it was my first major event, and it marked a new era in montreal's rave scene.
it was the first official performance of S4, bubblecore, and plush; all three of whom were simply booked as a friends, not much more.
all three have become staples of montreal's scene (well, not so much plush).
the fusion of a jungle room with a goa room was seen as innovative at the time, now it's very much imitated.
yes, karma was a good party. i dont know why this person is referring to it as a "bitch", but that's not cool - and probably deserves a punch in the face. |
