It's dark all round I walk down same sight same sounds new beats though
Solid concrete under my feet No surprises no treats the world stands still as my mind sloshes round The washing up bowl in my crown My life's been up and down since i walked from that crowd We were just standin there mindin our own And it went on and on We all smile we all sing The weak become heroes then the stairs align We all sing we all sing all sing |

Last I heard Gnat had moved to Toronto and was working as a lawyer... Gnat is a lawyer now?! It doesnt surprise me. he is well articulate. The Tiga and Gnat show played every monday from 1am to 4am on CKUT. there was a rotation; one week Tiga would play teckno and trance, Gnat would play anything from experimental to dnb. They would announce upcoming events. They would have guest djs sometimes. i have cassette tapes of some shows. haha cassettes... now that is old school. |

About those young ppl always going for the drugs, I started raving at 16 and I only went to one rave on any drug besides pot or booze, I hate all this generalization it blows trying to make all the young ppl sound like some immature mind set. And now that im 17 I see more older people on heavier drugs at raves.
And remeber ppl that the ppl who do the drugs all the time won't last as long as you. They may dance all night and all morning non-stop but after a year of the same shit they're bodies we be nothing and who will be the ones dancing into the night... |

i never understand talk about some people going for the music, others going for the drugs, and so forth. its not about one component or the other, but about the experience in its entirety..
pounding music + the energy and 'vibe' of the crowd + the trance-like state of hours of dancing + the empathy and warmth of MDMA = what a party should be about |

I agree with Dan, the only thing is that often several of those components work fine without the other being present. |
