| a) spooky, you're totally right in one sense, the track goes way out of control. on the other hand they're not actually flangers i dont think but lfo filters processing all the layers of the loops. furthermore, i like the track how it is, though i'll be the first to admit it sounds mad grainy and gritty and dirty and, like everything i make, repetitive and at times infuriating and annoying. keep in mind it's made to be mixed also.. so towards the end where it gets really fucked practically speaking there would be another track playing at the same time.
