if we can always have responsible raves, which is basically each person knowing their limits and respecting others, we just have to educate the world about the drugs.
Altered states of mind go with music, if you need drugs to get in touch with parts of yourself, so be it(I prefer booze free though...) It would be really trippy to have a rave where everyone was sober but still connecting with themselves and others....i think it would take a lot of positive, confident, empathic though. So i guess the solution is to educate and play safe :) Oh and the monkeys of course....but don't use them to distract the cops...train them in hand to hand combat, give 'em some bright yellow raincoats and let them wander around the building. Getting beaten down by a monkey in a bright yellow raincoat is not something a cop is gonna to tell his buddies... |

I find that a funny thing [ tho..Com ] to toronto I believe we are more responsible. We're able to leave our stuff somewhere without coatcheck and trust that it wont get stolen most of the time, where as in toronto I wouldn't leave my stuff unattended for 2 seconds. Im not saying it never happens here im sure it does I just think its funny how even tho all of that they're still able to come together and fight to keep there scene alive. |

what if a cop is reading this thread at this moment....what if im a cop? what if UR a cop? what if pooky is a cop? what if galaksy is a cop? what if nymp is a cop? what is...kawfin is a cop, what if everybody on this site is a cop and they dont know....
cops will always be running after raves. they are at the top, and we are at the bottom, the only way to make it work is if we are reasonable. if you wanna do a party with a open drug bar, thats too far, but if its a legal rave like alibi, i dont see a problem, i was there, and from what i saw, everything whent fine. who cares if the cops know where the rave is, obviusly they know that all ravers will be on drugs, but i think the law is that they have to catch you in the act...wich would be really hard... an other way would be to blow up a car at every hour, wich are located far away from the rave. so when each car blow up, cops will be surounding the "crime scene" and they will be far away from the rave, and we will be alone! ... i doubt that would work...me and my crazy idea.. a last solution would be....not to do any rave....NNAAAHHHHH, keep 'em coming! I think the relay point is the best idea and it worked for the parties that have been done...
Not having crackheads at parties would be great but I gave up preaching against drugs because people are too stupid to care or listen. |

No one listend for that reason, you preach, no one wants to hear that, if they did, they'd go to their parents or go to confessional, or stop and listen to you on your soap box, but you have lost their attention, these people aren't complete fuck ups like you make them out to be, so give them some slack, besides, aren't most of them your friends and people you know???
the only way (in my opinion) that this scene will survive is to cooperate with authorities, not go and get police to be at the party and to search everyone, but go about your organization of the party, legite. If the cops know that you've been cooperating, that you have a permit, that you have a form of security at the party they aren't going to make a huge fuss, they're gonna walk in, wanna chat with the person in charge to make sure everything is good, then leave and either never return or return hours later and do the same thing, it's a pain in the ass, but raves have become a concern to people and the cops have to look good and go out and do their jobs, it's not much fun to deal with, but the parties won't get busted squat parties are mucho fun on the other hand sont tellement excitant |
