But think about it, if you are near a cop and you're getting beat up by them, chances are you did 'something' to deserve it. I've actually been roughed up by cops, for getting into the metro without paying... i thought it was a bit of an over reaction, but... I wasn't innocent...

We are the system
the police are individuals just like us
"the man" is just some guy who's more successful than you
society is all of us

Before deciding you want to 'fight' for your beliefs, first ask yourself if there's even a small sliver of possibility of winning by doing the things you are. If you truly want to change society, get an education, start a movement and let the people decide if they support your ideas before making an ass out of yourself.

When you start with violence, you lose all your credibility in an instant; no one will listen to you once you cross that line. Lead by example, not by force.
