Does anyone know anywhere which does this. Please let me know... I'm thinking of getting 100 copies but I don't want to get 500 copies of something which I know I can't sell 500 of them...

I don't think it's possible or feasible to make less than 500.

well , you must forget that for 100 .
theres Mss Direct in Mtl ( the pressing is done in Toronto) but they are a bunch of idiot ,price are high and the service is the worst i ever seen.
I have a way better solution for you.
First of all get in contact with distributor/wholesaler , send them your project on cd with all the artwork and stuff ( dont forget to protect your copyrigth) with a msg asking them if they are interrested into buying your records and/or press it and distribute it for you. So that way you got your music on vinyl + distributed worldwide without wasting thousand $$$.

seriously the best bet is to actually make business with someone who already has a label and has been pressing vinyls before!
just like teknokriss said !

as for dubplates they dont suck ! they are expensive but i rather press a dubplate test it on the dancefloor and figuring out its not that good than pressing 300 vinyls and bein stucked with them cuz the response is not that good!

so basically dubplates can save you lotsa money if youre thinking about pressing and want to make sure youll sell enough of these babys!

Thats a different story tho.. ur not gonna go and make 100 dubplates.. and sell them for what 70 bucks each? I dont think that'll work.

mms music is good cause they'll make only 300 if that's all you want

if you want dubs to go chopstick i guess

other decent north american pressing plants include archer in detroit -cheap, slow service. minimum 500

there's a couple more in NA and you prety much gotta go to UK to get high quality vinyls. search on the net or something i'm sure, eventually, you'll find this site that's a whole discussion of all the presses pros and cons, i seen that once.

if you seriously need help with that talk to me about it one time.

it realy depend where you press it. Its around 1200 - 1500 $cdn , but anyway , imagine you find a deal for 1100 in texas , you still have to pay some hundred for shiping ...
LIke what i say earlyer , find a distributor who is interrested in your stuff first. Hes gonna help you to find the best deal ... ...
