COURT RULING PUTS WORKERS AT RISK

The Ohio Supreme Court has just made a critical error in regard to
protecting the rights of workers. I am very disappointed by the
court's decision to overturn legislation that forced employees to
prove that alcohol or drugs did not result in accidents that were then
claimed through workers' compensation.

This decision puts into question the court's judgment and desire to
protect the general public. Employees who choose to use alcohol or
drugs on the job put everyone else at risk.

This case demonstrates that the court is in favor of protecting the
rights of the few and ignoring the greater responsibility of ensuring
the welfare of the many.

This court should be held in contempt and be liable the first time an
intoxicated employee causes the death of a coworker or himself or herself.
