SMELL SMOKE?

Toronto -- If the best solution Health Canada can develop for medical
marijuana is for doctors to dispense the drug from our offices, the folks in
Ottawa must be smoking the stuff. As a physician, I have several patients
who use marijuana for various medical problems, and they say it helps. That
may well be true, but how am I to judge? There are no guidelines as to how
much to dispense for whom and for what -- and as soon as there are, there
will be howls from those who disagree.
