AUMSVILLE: VIEW FROM SKY AIDS MARIJUANA BUST
A chance discovery during an aerial surveillance flight helped police bust
a marijuanagrowing operation.
"Officers served a search warrant early Friday at 8764 Shaw Square Road and
seized 49 plants worth an estimated $122,500," said Tim Steele.
"They were good quality plants," he said.
"The department conducts periodic flights to look for drugs," he said.
The residents of the house, Steve Gardner, 37 and Carla Gardner, 35, were
arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance.
