YES TO MARIJUANA BUT NO TO FLUORIDE?

Way to go, Hawaii government! Your vote to support the use of marijuana
reinforces the bizarre thinking that goes on and on in Hawaii politics.
Let's not add fluoride to our drinking water. No way. Why, it will only help
to prevent tooth decay significantly.

And, if possible, let's do away with chlorine as well. After all, if nature
had wanted our water to be any safer than it is, chlorine would have always
been present in it.

But marijuana - now, that's different. No harmful effects there; no
scientific studies that have shown any signs of causing the user to suffer.
So, let's get on with it. Make it legal and available. Let's create a Hawaii
society of legal drug users, and don't think for one moment that its use
will be restricted for medical purposes only.

Live with the consequences of this double standard, Hawaii. Just write your
elected representatives and thank them for all they have done to make this
such a wishy-washy state in protecting and safeguarding the health and
welfare of its citizens, current and unborn.
