DETENTION CENTER HEAD ARRESTED ON POT CHARGE The newly appointed director of the Rutherford County Juvenile Detention Center was arrested earlier this week on a charge of felony possession of marijuana. Carla Rutledge, 29, of Murfreesboro, was arrested Monday night. Murfreesboro Police Maj. Jim Gage would not say yesterday how much marijuana allegedly was found in Rutledge's possession or describe the circumstances surrounding the arrest. To be charged with a felony, a person must have at least a half ounce, he said. Rutledge, who was promoted to the director's position in early November, was suspended without pay Tuesday.
