That being said, there is no scene if people don't throw parties, and it's much more productive if you work together. Though I applaud crews efforts at recreating illegal style parties, you must keep in mind that by doing this, you are breaking the law and run the risk of fines etc...

Though throwing free parties is great(keep doing it if you can), if you plan on charging, I think getting a propper venue is the least you can do. Getting a propper venue requires time, and effort, both of which are totally normal investments when putting together events. Furthermore, if you legitimize your event by working in collaboration with the city and the fire department, you have a far greater chance of NOT being busted.

Now I'm not suggesting that you share all of your findings and connections you've each amassed, however bickering with each other or claiming spots is pretty childish and reflects badly on all of you. Furthermore, with respect to each of your crews, the fact that you all seem to have your eyes on the same spots is pretty weak, this city is FRIGIN HUGE, you can't possibly believe there are only a handfull of spots where you can throw parties...

anyways, these are my thoughts and opinions, like, dislike em, just please try to realize that you guys are a big part of why these events still happen...
