J'adore ce livre! C'est plein de petites histoires, qui mettent en situation des personnages devant des choix éthiques souvent délicats. C'est le genre de lecture qui fait réfléchir beaucoup... Un exemple de questionnement typique qu'on retrouve dans le livre: si on arrivait à créer une race animale qui désire ardemment être mangée, est-ce qu'on peut toujours dire que c'est "mauvais" de tuer des animaux pour s'en nourrir?

Knowing the man, it's more or less surprising though. I once read (long ago) an interview of Cage and he talked about a time he accidently killed a snake on his property. He said he strongly believes one should always eat the animals they kill, so he decided to cook and eat the snake! He said it was a "strange spiritual experience".

We had a family BBQ tonight at my place so today I cooked:

-Greek salad;
-Hummus with cut vegetables and naan bread chips;
-Mediterranean vegetable casserole;
-Chicken, pork and lamb kebabs;
-Pasta with calabrese, black olives and bocconcini;
-Spiced grilled fish;
-Baklavas(lots!);
-Blueberry pie;
-Cupcakes.

Made: being off on a friday.
Made: got awaken by a phone call from someone wanting to hire me.
Made: home alone + gabber + joint + Amarula in my coffee. At 9:40 AM. Oh yeah. :D
Made: Yoga class today!
Ruined: nothing so far. This day rocks.

Ruined: completely ruined a bunch of cupcakes. I don't get it, I bake cupcakes and such since I'm like 12 and always had them done right. I'm troubled. What the hell happened? :S
Made: having the possibiity to report baking a new batch of cupcakes until tomorrow without being in trouble. Now is the time to relax!

I don't have a long list of criterias in mind when it comes to describe what kind of man I'm looking for, but here's some of them:

Honest, kind and loyal, he's someone I can trust 100%.
He has a knack to make me laugh.
He shares many interests, opinions and values with me (doesn't have to be ALL the same, but being on the same wavelenght on things that matter is important).
He's passionate, independant and an alpha male.
On the physical side, I want him to have nice eyes, skin, hair, teeth and hands. Being taller than me is also much appreciated.

Oh and sex is important, too.

Ahah me too! Many people hate it, but I love goat meat so much. And lamb also.
