I gotta agree that a dj can accept as many gigs he wants, as long as he can play at all of them. It would be one thing if you were an international headliner on tour, but you're not, you're a local trying to make a name for yourself by playing as many gigs as possible. The only thing I think you shouldn't have done is naming the promoter involved. Sure, some people will have figured it out, but it's respectful not to bring out any names on a public message board.

I remember when Mad used to play 3 or 4 times every weekend, and he was one of the most popular local djs. Competition is something promoters have to deal with, and as a dj, you're booked for the timeslot you're given. You're free to do what you want with the rest of your time, unless you agreed to a contract saying otherwise before you were booked.

This month's gonna rock for sure!

I've been impressed, and you all know I don't say that lightly. The sound system was great, so where the djs. Organisation was top notch, and the deco was really amazing. Props to the Natural Disaster team for throwing this event. This is the way it should be done.

Les bons djs vont trouver des tracks qui sont pas sur hardcore heaven ou n'importe quelle des grosses compilations. Personnellement, j'ai toujours plus de fun quand un dj joue des tracks que je ne connais pas, ou des tracks assez vieille pour que je les ai oubliées.

Effectivement, c'est pas le genre de truc qui risque d'arriver une autre fois :p
