Parce je les imagine jouer dans deux pièces differentes et tout la troupe qui s'empile dans pièce A et ensuite B pour les entendre...

S'ils sont pas en même temps je veux dire.

Bah, je verrai bien ce qui va se passer! Woot!

So, how many tickets were sold as of now? When I got mine at Psychonauts, I had number 26/27/28... I hope there'll be enough people!

I honestly dont know, I didn't ask Andre at psychonaut, and i wont ask him till saturday afternoon, i want it to be a surprise for myself hehe... also he gives the tickets randomly so just because you've got 26/27/28 doesnt mean there were only 28 tix sold...

we have a nice attending list, 96 right now, i did lots of promo during the last 4 months, so im pretty sure we'll have lots of peeps and a great vibe at this party...!

also expect to see some new faces, not only the usual rave crowd :)

4 days left!

Good! That`s exactly what I want!

Yeah but attendees here mean nothing. How many write down attendence to events but fail to actually go? I'd find that sad, being that I very much want to be surrounded by people! ;) Empty raves scare me! (like the first few hours of HAF5....)

I believe that a band can change while maintaining its integrity. Look at System of a Down, for instance. I know, it's nothing like punk and not many might appreciate them too much but still, it's a fine example. Serj used to be the main singer but in the last two albums, they've difinitely changed in style and put Daron as lead singer. A big change but not a loss of integrity. They didn't change to make more money; they changed because they felt like changing. I guess it's up to you to decide whether or not you believe a person has sold out and how much this will affect you. I know that I couldn't listen to Reset anymore after Pierre went to Simple Plan simply because I felt cheated. Some of the songs really affected me and afterwards felt like complete hypocrisy (Friend, for instance). I know that I'll still listen to the Transplants even if they have their song in a shampoo commercial because it doesn't affect me the same way.

Again, I have to say that I'm not against the music. if it appeals to some, then so be it. It's the label I don't appreciate.

As far as selling out, what IS selling out? If you are a band who wants to be known and make money... Is being commercial selling out or actually going through with your plans? For that reason alone, I'll never think of bands like Transplants as selling out (and not ALL of Rancid is in Transplants...).

And of course, Bad Religion isn't what they used to be. But they're still seen as Godlinmgs in the heart of punkdom, which is why I stated them.

If you want sell-outs, try GreenDay. I personally didn't think they were sell-outs until their last album. While their music was generally accepted as pop music, they didn't care. They played their stuff and were humble enough about it. And then, bam! Eyeliner, black clothes and anti-government propaganda. Wtf? That IS selling out; to change oneself dramatically in order to appeal to others (and make money out of the process).

Yeah, Phil is the guy who decided to revive Reset. I think he`s the singer too, now.

Yes. The sad truth is that you got bands like Rancid and Bad Religion who acknowledge Simple Plan as being punk, thus "officializing" their status.

Sad.

They don't suck because they made it; they suck because they changed their style so as to appeal to twelve year olds. That is the very meaning of selling out. They stopped playing the music they wanted in order to make more money; it's as simple as that. I don't mind them at asll as far as Pop Music goes but pretending to still be in the same genre (punk) now, because they used to be so, is simply stupid and I don't respect them at all for that.

If I had the musical talent and the opportunity, I might do the same (pop music) but would I refer to me as a punk artist? No.

Yes, Reset! Man, they were good... The bad thing is that they've gone from a good, local punk band, to two shitty punk bands. The new Reset sucks nearly as much as Simple Plan.
