So everything runs downwards as opposed to stretching horizontally. Right there, that gives you plenty of room to work with content and do something kickass with your signature style up top.

i'm just going to post here and say that some art, in particular abstract art, isnt concerned with whether or not a four year old painted it, but with the sentiment put behind it.

hence, daubbles and splatter and streaks and one little dot in the very corner of the canvas.

I know a number of people – some of whom I love very much, some of whom I love very little, all of whom come equipped with a potent persona that sets them apart from the normative herd – and these people, whatever I may think of them, share one ideological linchpin in common.

It’s not hard to know these things; and yes, that’s just the way it is. Once you bite the apple – or the apple bites you – you can never unsee. You can only stop looking. You can only forget or deny, let the two feed on each other, as they so often do.

But for those who find honour in wide-open eyes, it can then become astonishingly difficult to trust: a Promethean endeavour which – if these folks are to be believed – pretty much guarantees you an eternity strapped to the screaming, bleeding rock. Sporting a little sign that reads, “SUCKER!!!”
