Yeah, this is pretty out of the blue, I'm pretty happy and surprised. The only events that beat us were big mega-events with several thousand people, so to make it onto the list with an event consisting mainly of underground rave music is pretty awesome. Thanks to everyone who voted! It's somewhat too bad we didn't think to tell people 'hey vote for us' so we could be even higher in the list, but in the end it's actually WAY COOLER that we got 5th without even knowing this was going on!

Tickets go on sale tommorow in Montreal, Thursday in Ottawa. Considering we normally have 400+ people at our events, I advise y'all to pick em up when you can.

That's the point of these photos - project the better than thou look. Most people aren't like that in real life, although lots of the camhos on this site have it down to a science and go out to nights and events just to stand in the corner pulling those faces.

UFC is ultimate fighting Championship, it's not wrestling it's mixed martial arts. It's pretty exciting but apples and oranges to compare with professional wrestling.

Personally i was a big wrestling fan as a kid, addicted to Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage and all that. I grew up and learned to appreciate the art of professional wrestling with artists like Brett Hart and Shaun Michaels. Lately I've lost interest in the WWF because of the lame story lines but I'll still check out a ppv occasionally, or TNA (Total Nonstop Action) which is a new PPV only show that's all crazy skilled wrestling, a real treat to watch.

As far as leagues in montreal, there's quite a few actually - I played with the idea of starting one but really the market is saturated and you should just leave that stuff to the people who are really into it. My favorite is the IWS - [ syndicatewrestling.com ]

This isn't a John B / Amazone / Ravermania superiority thread, fortunately for hard working promoters there's more than enough partiers in Montreal to go around and I know as a fact that all 3 events are gonna be awesome.
