Here's a video of the commercial for his ID&T mix CD, short but pretty wicked:

And here's his mix from Sensation Black 2004 - which is one of the largest events in Europe:

Slammer Virus presents
HARD AS FUCK : MARS 2044
Saturday August 6th 2005
10PM-10AM

The Year is 2044
Mars has become a prison planet
Only the Hardest of the Hardcore survive...

On August 6th, witness 10 of the baddest mother fucker djs open a portal into the future. Prepare to experience the next evolution in an event that was voted the best underground rave in Montreal.

Hardcore Techno. Hard Trance. Hard as Fuck!

featuring

DJ PROMO
The Third Movement / ID&T - Holland
One of the biggest names in hardcore today, DJ Promo has released countless massive tracks and has been featured on almost every major label there is. Not happy to just produce, he also runs The Third Movement label, which features tracks and sublabels from names like Lady Dana and Lenny Dee. His style of music ranges from full on storming gabber to rough and crunchy industrial to hardcore techno, and has made him one of the most in demand hardcore djs in the world. This is a rare chance to catch a living legend in North America - don't miss it!

B7 vs DEZTRO
Special Rematch / Embryon - Toronto
This duo ripped it up so hard at our last event that we had no choice but to put them in control of the Hard as Fuck soundsystem this time around. A native of Holland, Deztro brings over a decade of experience in the world's hardcore mecca with him. As the driving force behind Toronto's Embryon, B7 is no stranger to destructive beats either. As the mask slips down, there will be no compromise : these two hardcore soldiers will massacre the dancefloor!

MERKURIUS
Kanibalz - Quebec City
He was the first Hard as Fuck headliner, and came back again for HAF:XXX. We couldn't celebrate our one year anniversary without him, so once again back it's the incredible Merkurius! King of Quebec City's hardcore scene, this man is also headlining the World Electronic Music Festival hardcore stage this summer.

SLAMMER VIRUS Live!
Repent Tokyo Records - Live Heavy Metal Hardcore The masterminds of Hard as Fuck return to Montreal hot off the heels of a headlining gig at Fuck the Prejudice, New York City's largest hardcore event of the year. Combining hardcore beats with heavy metal guitar and ultra-violence, you never know what to expect when this gang of misfits hit the stage.

and regional talent

DJ MAD
[ Madstation.net ] - Special Harder than Hard Trance Set

DJ EARTHQUAKE
Industrial Strength Records - Hardcore Techno

SICKNESS
Agumon Productions - Gabber

TAMERAX
Hard Dance and Freeform - Sherbrooke

Yeah it's not a charity so you can't expect them to run a business without making money. If you think what they're paid to rent out the place is enough to cover the costs of the real estate + staff there, it's not even close :S . I agree though that while a certain amount of sketch is inevitable, what went on this weekend goes way past that and I'm sure it will be dealt with.

Anyways, I'm tired of being the big gravity-defender in this situation, all i'm saying is that people are jumping to conclusions and being unreasonable. Chill out, give us a few days, and we'll tell you what's up.

There's a massive difference between the situation at Foufs and the situation at Gravity. Just last weekend, half the promoters and several of the djs were caught with TONS of drugs on them. So you're complaining now that they're rude to the talent? Well blame the 'talent' at the last show that decided to take advantage of them when they were nice and didn't check everyone thoroughly.

Jesus Christ people NO WE DON'T

This guy is a NOBODY at Gravity. Once the real manager finds out about the shitstorm caused by this I'm sure he'll be the first to take care of this guy.

Remember that the Gravity people are not bad people, our own man Jack is working together with them to give the rave scene a good place to party. Is it perfect? No, but it never is - but it's not as bad as you're all making it out to be.

It makes perfect sense - people drop and lose things all the time, it's better that staff picks it up and puts it in a centralized place than someone who might just keep it finding it.

Anyways, just my 2 cents: don't hate on the club and don't assume the worst of everyone all the time. Hopefully tommorow people will get some of their stuff back and that's a good thing!

Lets make something clear, the only thing I know for sure is that Amilya's bag somehow ended up in Lost & Found pile in the Gravity staff area. Having thrown raves for years, I know that when bags are stolen, the person usually brings it somewhere, looks through it, steals what they want and then dumps the rest in a corner or behind a speaker or whatever.

Gravity staff *does* go through the venue all night picking up anything that shouldn't be lying around, that includes everything from bottles to bags.

I don't think it's cool that this guy gave away stuff from the lost and found, but it happens - when stuff has been sitting in the lost and found pile for weeks the staff gets first pick at it. So there is a chance that the guy just picked it up thinking it was from a while ago. Doesn't make it okay, but I want to make it clear that there's no proof that this guy stole the stuff in the first place, and this guy is NOT the manager or some important person at the club.

I'm getting in touch with Jack to check out the stuff left in the lost and found. I'm sure there'll be a clarification on the policy of when Lost and Found stuff is allowed to be tossed or given away - aka 2 weeks after it's found.

Thanks for your help, we know who he is now, still don't know his name till Nimi tells us but i'll be able to describe him to the *real* manager. Just a note that we're not saying this is the guy who stole the stuff, the only thing we know for sure is that he gave stuff away that was in the lost & found, which isn't cool but isn't as bad as actually stealing it.

I'm getting in touch with the club to have this sorted, as I said before I just want to get these people's stuff back.

Things are being looked into, once the identity of the guy who gave Heather the stuff becomes clear, we'll have a better idea of what's up. I don't think it's Gravity, but perhaps a Gravity staff member and good thing being that if that's the case then the club will string them up by the fucking balls for this.

yeah, and prescription glasses just cost that much, and typically you kinda need to bring them with you because ... well you can't see properly without them.

But honestly, I'm not really in a Sherlock mood but I was back and forth from the VIP room all night refilling on Hard as Fuck 4 flyers and I saw a number of people back there around the time this stuff dissapeared. I'd rather just locate the essential stuff that's useless to the theives anyways - aka Amilya's glasses, moondancer's ID cards - and then I wouldn't have to track down who did this. Seeings as I don't think I'd be able to proove things in any kind of legal fashion, I'd just settle for a [ rave.ca ] public sacrifice and a punch to the head next time i see the person(s) responsible.

Yeah the main key is to get back stuff that's required for day to day living, like Amilya's glasses. They're useless to anyone else so I'm hoping that if were found that someone (Noah, Amilya, or me would be good) will be messaged and they can come grab em :-)

Great party, met a lot of people off the site! Really upsetting about Amilya's bag being stolen - gonna get to the bottom of this and make sure she gets her glasses back at least. It makes no sense for stuff that has no value to someone else to be stolen.

DV Intorsion was a great event. While I'm getting a bit tired of Gravity, the difference was made in the people that were there! I'm always amazed at the crowd the IMX people bring in, people I never see at other events who are truly hardcore and out there for their love of harder dance music.

As always, the sound system was banging and all the performers were hitting it hard. Dr Macabre was sick, I got to watch a good chunk of him playing live and it was definately a cool setup.

Afterwards Iznogood tore it up as per usual, did some really cool shit and mashed up Tiffany with some hardcore :-) He finished off his set with a new Slammer Virus track, which we found fucking awesome - coming from someone of Iznogood's stature we felt really honored that he played our music!

Past that, it was hot as fuck and muggy giving out Hard as Fuck pre-flyers outside but Caillou and Merkurius and everyone else coming out kept me entertained. Special thanks to Lonestar for flyering all the girls and Scotty for flyering all the boys ;) It's going to be a fun summer hanging out in the cracked out morning with all those homeless people outside the club, huh?

All in all a unique event, I had a blast and I look forward to seeing what the IMX guys have up their sleeves for the future. Massive respect!

Peace
Ryan

If they start being smart asses with me i just blink and go 'I'm sorry, my french isn't very good' and they don't have the english ability to be assholes with me. Once they realize my french isn't good at all they lose all interest in having a deep discussion with me and leave me alone

So I'm not normally the kind of guy to complain about noise.

But I can hear this fucktard from across the street's music over my television, and even when i'm playing my own music. He's blaring Boney M and Bob Marley off his fucking second floor patio, and we've told him twice it's stupid loud but he keeps on turning it up again after we leave.

I call the cops, wait on hold for fucking 15 minutes. I'm not going to call 911 over a fucking noise complaint, but seriously.

And in other news, the Montreal police don't have an english version of their website either. I'm trying to find the number for my local station so i can try that. Anyone know how to find the station closest to Decarie and Queen Mary?
